Edward Ezeme

My name is Edward and I started my professional journey in the creative industry in 2017, started out as a designer, but picking up other skills in video editing + motion design (with Adobe suite). Also participated in leadership, communications & sales trainings over time.

From freelancing & working with clients across 20+ countries to full time gigs (niching in branding & marketing), last (web2 company) being Power Portalz, Wichita, Kansas, USA (remote). Mainly, PP owned electronic billboards where clients placed Ads. My job was to create still and animated billboards for such clients.

Q2 2021, I was invited to join a team for Gitcoin Round 10 Hackerton. This defined my first step into web3, there my lore of web3 was broadened and I learnt to appreciate the industry better, pledging to contribute my quota to the growth of the ecosystem, then went ahead to participate in GR11&12 solo, engaging creative bounties and winning a few entries in Graphics design, video productions and a podcast series. I’ve since worked with Sarcophagus DAO(Creative Designer - NOV 2021 to SEPT 2023), API3 DAO's then community initiative + first SubDAO, API3 PORTAL (Assistant Creative Lead, then Lead after the Director took another job - DEC 2021 to JAN 2023). Also built with a few startups who had to pack up due to challenges mostly around finance.

I value all experiences because they all added to my knowledge & depth within web3 today. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to contribute to the ecosystem and I’m convinced it’s time to take my contribution to the next level through CW3 MEDIA.
