Dimple Verma

I am a hard-working college student (8.3 CGPA till 2nd Semester, B.Tech in Computer Science) currently attending NSUT East Campus, Delhi. I have problem-solving, technical and creative thinking skills. I am a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. I work efficiently both as an individual contributor as well as along with a team. I seek new challenges and try to think out-of-the-box while looking for creative solutions to a given problem.

I have Knowledge of Programming Languages (like C/C++, Python, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SQL), Data Science, ML, Data Structures & Algorithms and Web Development. I am always energetic and eager to learn new skills. I had done 1 month internship in The Sparks Foundation as Data Science & Business Analytics Intern in June Batch 2021 as part of their Graduate Rotational Internship Program. I had performed the following tasks during the internship period :-

• Prediction using supervised ML
  (Predicted the percentage of students based on no. of study hours)
• Prediction using unsupervised ML
  (Predicted the optimum no. of clusters and represent it visually from the given 'Iris' dataset)
• Timeline Analysis : Covid-19 using Tableau
  (Created a storyboard showing spread of Covid-19 cases in our country)
• Created a website where Payment Gateway is Integrated

I had also made a personal project on " Real time face mask detector " using Python, OpenCV, Keras.

I had also earned Performer - Special Challenge (Quarter: May - August) Badge Earned on sucessfull completion of Containers on AWS Challenge on re:Skill Platform and hence got a chance to win Amazon re:Skill T-Shirt.

I am a part of YoungWarrior - Summer Volunteering at YuWaah - India (UNICEF).
