Developed a RESTful microservice in Python to handle keyword-based search queries, leveraging OpenAI's embeddings and completions for semantic search and context-aware results.

Implemented a vector similarity search algorithm (cosine similarity) to identify and rank relevant articles and research papers in the in-house library.

Deployed the search service on AWS Lambda for scalability and integrated with AWS S3 for storing large document datasets.

Ensured secure API integration with OpenAI, handling token-based authentication and rate-limiting to optimize performance.

Used asynchronous Python libraries (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp) for rapid and concurrent API calls, significantly reducing search latency.
