I am a research scientist and climate innovation enthusiast with a strong passion for ecosystem-based adaptation and technology for sustainability.
Although I do not have formal training in computer science, I have used AI tools such as ChatGPT to design and develop digital solutions, including CarbonTally — a tree survival monitoring and carbon tracking application that integrates field data from KoboToolbox and generates real-time CO₂ estimates.
My work bridges environmental science, data-driven decision making, and community engagement. I believe technology should empower people at the grassroots to take informed climate action.
Through this hackathon, I hope to collaborate with technical experts to enhance CarbonTally’s analytical and visualization features, and to co-create tools that make ecosystem restoration more measurable, transparent, and impactful.
