Hi, my name is Aryaman Bajaj, My field of interests with regards to academics include robotics and debating. I feel my background with robotics brings a sense of realism and constructive criticism to the table, giving me a different perspective to look at it from a technical standpoint. My second field of interest is debating encourages on the spot thinking and critical brainstorming, two skills that are essential in trying to solve real-world problems. This gives me the benefit of looking at ideas logically and gives the skills of weight the pros and cons of a problem effectively. I chose to express my creativity through multiple forms, first it was art and now it is through robotics and physics. Ever since I was a young child I was fascinated by the world around me and how it worked be it planes to simple everyday fridges. Through physics, I felt I would understand the workings of the world as it explained to me as to how it somehow take heavy metallic objects and give them flight or make them float on water, feats that seemed impossible to me at that time. In my pursuit to understanding the concepts better, I made models. I made balsa plane models and use to tie them in front of the cooler when it was being taught in school. I made multiple Rc cars and boats with different qualities by salvaging my toys, when I was in eighth grade I made a boat that could turn into a car by retracting its wheels. I made a tesla coil in my 12th-grade project. I made a made shift rumba by mimicking the motion of the domestic help. In 10th grade, I participated with an external team and won the esya IIIt Robo soccer competition. I also planned on making a full working buggy, the initial prototype worked but the when I was building the full-scale model I ran into technical difficulties that could only be expressed as lack of technical knowledge. I also made a homework writing machine which failed during testing, I got the idea by watching online videos. I also represented my school by being part of the robotics team. One of the main driving factors towards these projects was to ease the life of others or my life. I made the homework writing machine because I school used to give lengthy projects during our breaks, specifically telling us to write by hand.
