Shawn Rizo

Independent software developer, AI consultant, and builder. I design, build, and ship end-to-end software for businesses and clients across both traditional web and web3, from AI agents and automation to production business applications and blockchain systems. I own the full arc of a project: scoping the problem, architecting the solution, building it, and handing it off so it keeps running without me.

My work spans a broad stack. On the AI side, I build LLM-powered applications, autonomous multi-agent systems, and automation, and I design the validation and review processes that keep them reliable. On the product side, I ship full-stack applications with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, and Supabase that real clients depend on daily. On the blockchain side, I bring several years of Solidity development and smart-contract security research, auditing, testing, and hardening decentralized applications with a focus on correctness and safety.

I've been recognized for building under pressure, with multiple prizes across ETHGlobal hackathons and the Safe Agentathon, including best-in-class DeFAI and autonomous-agent awards. More importantly, I deliver real products: software in daily production use by clients, tools shipped with full source-code handoff and ownership, and systems built to outlast their launch.

What sets my work apart is judgment. I care about shipping things that actually work, telling a client when something shouldn't be built, and catching my own mistakes before they reach production. I'm at my best as the person who can build it, translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and own it end-to-end.
