ETHIndia Online is our take on bringing together thousands of hackers and best minds in Ethereum in #BUIDLing a decentralized future.

Spanning 30 days, ETHIndia Online will be live till February 20, 11:59 pm.

Agenda

We want to make our premier hackathon a knowledgable and fun experience for you all. We have a whole lot of workshops, AMAs and hack sessions planned for you in the coming days. Apart from these, we've set up a #watercooler channel in our Discord for fun activities and to make memories.

Here's a rough agenda of the hackathon:

22nd Jan, 2020, 12:00 AM IST - Hackathon starts - Submission link will be live until the hackathon's end.

20th Feb, 2020, 11:59 PM IST - Hackathon ends - Submission window for the hackathon closes.

25th Feb, 2020, 12:00 PM IST - Prizes declared - We'll announce the winners of ETHIndia Online

What to build?

ETHIndia Online is an Ethereum hackathon where we expect all the hacks to be built as use-cases of the Ethereum tech stack. If you are completely new to the world of decentralized apps (dApps), we have some great resources for you to start off with!

How to submit your hack?

Head out to your ETHIndia Online dashboard and check out the submission portal. You can either submit your project as solo or you can team up with upto 5 people. When you click the Add Project link, you will be taken to the submission page where you can fill in the details regarding the nature of your hack and necessary media to support it.

What are the bounties?

We have prizes worth over $8,500 for grabs from our sponsors. Check out their bounty tasks and stand a chance to win it all!

Matic

For ETHIndia Online, the Matic team is offering a range of bounty tracks with prizes totalling $5000 for hackers who would like to BUIDL on Matic Network.

The basic expectation of the hacks 1-4 is being a full-stack application, reachable via a URL (eg., hosted on Netlify or similar).

1. Meta Transactions ($1000)
2. Decentralized Storage ($1000)
3. DEX on Plasma ($1000)
4. Metamask Plugin + Micropayments ($1000)
5. Oracles ($500)
6. Open Track ($500)

Torus

Prizes totalling ₹140,000 will be awarded to 6 teams that integrate Torus as their login mechanism with the following criteria:

• 1 Grand prize of ₹40,000 in ETH to the DApp with the best use case for Reddit, Twitch, or Discord logins with Torus (for Google, Reddit, and Discord accounts).
• 1 Prize of ₹20,000 in ETH to the best DApp that fully utilises Torus’ NameResolver Feature (using Google, Reddit or Discord accounts for distributing tokens through a contact list).
• 1 Prize of ₹20,000 in ETH to the best DApp that implements Proof of Signing for documents (DocuSign) with Torus.
• 1 Prize of ₹20,000 in ETH to the best DApp that integrates Torus with Aragon or other DAO Factories.
• 1 Prize of ₹20,000 in ETH to the best DApp that integrates Torus with other Smart Contract Wallets.
• 1 Prize of ₹20,000 in ETH to the best DApp that integrates Torus with other Layer 2 Solutions.

dfuse

1,700 USDT (~₹120,000) in bounty prizes from dfuse

3 bounty prizes totalling 1,700 USDT to be paid out to the teams powering their projects with dfuse:

• 1st place: 1,000 USDT (~₹70,000)
• 2nd place: 500 USDT (~₹35,000)
• 3rd place: 200 USDT (~₹15,000)

Bounties will be awarded based on 2 main criteria:

• User Experience: Projects that will stand out with the most fluid and lively user experience.
• dfuse Integration: Projects that best integrate the unique capabilities of dfuse Search and dfuse Lifecycle.
