I’m a third-year Honours Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo, passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. I excel in web and AI development, and I’m skilled in languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, and tools like Flask, React, TensorFlow, and MongoDB.
What drives me is the belief that technology can be a force for good, improving lives and addressing critical issues. I’m constantly motivated by the challenge of creating impactful, user-centric solutions. My desire to contribute to society has led me to work on projects like HydroPal, a hydration tracking system with a virtual plant that reflects a user's hydration habits, and a Sign Language Interpreter that translates sign language into English text using machine learning, which I developed in collaboration with researchers from Oxford. Both of these projects not only allowed me to improve my technical skills but also reinforced my belief in using technology to make a positive impact on others.
I thrive in collaborative environments where innovation and problem-solving come together, and I’m excited to continue pushing boundaries at this hackathon!
