Somesh Singh

I'm Somesh Singh, and I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering at the Netaji Subhas University of Technology. I also have experience as a Software Development Intern at Humans of Rural India where I build the frontend of the naina.me landing page from scratch utilizing ReactJs and Tailwind CSS, finished setting up the web editor’s frontend, authentication, and backend connections of catalogue and editor from scratch using MERN stack and Firebase. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Coding Ninjas where I mentored over 130 students.

I have a rating of over 1900 on the LeetCode platform and a knight badge, which is awarded to the top 5% of coders on the platform. This demonstrates my aptitude for problem solving. I am versatile, quick to pick up new skills, and excited about technology. To achieve my goals, I put in a lot of effort, practise self-control, and am motivated. In addition to academics, during my university years I developed confidence in what I learned outside of the course material and learned various technologies such as ReactJs, NextJs. I have participated in several hackathons of which my team qualified for the internal hackathon round for Smart India Hackathon. If I were around others who shared my interests, I could advance more quickly. I want to use my knowledge of coding to be successful in this position.
