About Me

I am a recent undergraduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I am passionate about innovating, creating and learning something new every day. I am deeply Interested in the domains of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Web3 and their possible symbiosis..
I would describe myself as a person who is versatile, determined and hardworking. I am an optimistic kid who loves to venture into unknown technical domains in my past time and make the most out of it! :D
My present role is Data Scientist at Anheuser-Busch InBev, an S&P 500 company. I'm presently working to revolutionize the traditional supply channels of the company by incorporating "intelligence" on the e-commerce channels using the power of data and AI :)
With the horizons of Web3 being pushed everyday and me already having a tryst with Web3 (Ethereum India Fellow 2020), I am currently in the process of (yet again?) BUIDLing something interesting, this time combining the power of AI and Web3.

Education and Involvements

I recently graduated with a major from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science and a minor from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Since my freshman year, I have constantly tried to become involved in projects to utilize the technical abilities in me. Being in the Satellite Team, IIT Bombay, I have been actively involved in running simulations for various satellite parameters and writing code for the communication. I've also worked extensively in the field of Machine Learning in various start-ups and MNC's like Tvarit, Anheuser Busch InBev etc..
I am adept at using C++, Python, MATLAB, and can easily learn and adapt to new software languages and packages.

Hackathons and Mentorship

I've been involved in quite a few (and hosted some) hackathons at the regional scale and am looking forward to participating in India-wide hackathons!
I believe when one person teaches, two people learn!
So, I try to be a mentor for any hackathon or workshop whenever an opportunity arises and teach others about the knowledge I've gained! I got selected for the MLH Fellowship, the fun of working with whom was taken away from me by COVID (sigh).
Nevertheless, I've utilized the time being a mentor in the ngGirls Australia workshop aimed at bringing in more Women into Tech, and was focussed on teaching Angular 2.
I was also a Teaching Assistant in my Institute for Computer Programming and Utilisation twice, and have helped over 500+ freshmen students kickstart their coding journey.
