Hey! I am a graduate student from IIIT Bangalore. I have very recently completed the CERN Openlab Summer program in Geneva. I am good at Linux, Cloud, Open Source Software, & Full Stack Dev. I have taken a varied set of courses & I have done projects in them. I like to explore a lot, hence I keep trying & learning new things every day. The zeal to learn more & explore is what drives me. Technology is vast & it has its application in various domains. I strongly believe this. Hence, I try to look at problems from the perspective of tech & do my best to solve it using technology.

Besides, the course & side projects, I contribute to Open Source. I have started my OSS journey through the Google Summer of Code program in 2017, where I contributed to the organization Pharo Consortium. Maybe this is one of the complex projects I have worked on. It was complex mainly because I am new to the language, the project needs to be completed in 3 months time & the work was remote. So, I felt too much in the beginning. But, the mentor was very nice & helped me through the project. I learned the language soon & I started publishing blog posts about all the stuff I learned every week. Soon, I had progress in the project. I learned a great deal. Through this project, I learned about the software Pharo, linux system calls, command line handlers, writing good blog posts, making videos presenting the work, more importantly collaborating with people from around the world. It was a great experience. On the same lines, I got into the 'Open Mainframe Project Summer Internship' program in the summer of 2018. This is also an Open Source Internship & this organization comes under 'Linux Foundation'. Here, I worked on some dope tech like Kubernetes. I had to deploy Kubernetes on the LinuxOne servers. It was also a good experience. Besides the internships, whenever I get time I keep contributing to open source projects.

I also attend hackathons happening in and around Bangalore. I have also won a few, 'Kandy.io IOT Hackathon 2016', 'HasGeek HackNight organized by Razorpay 2017', 'Engati botathon 2017'. I have been one of the finalists of 'Smart India Hackathon 2016', 'Daimler Mercedes Benz'.

Open Source didn't just teach me about various softwares. It also taught me about people & how people communicate, collaborate and manage time to do OSS apart from the Full time job. OSS is more about community rather than the software itself.
