Pooja Ravi

I am a sophomore Computer Science student at SRM Kattankulathur. I attended IBM's machine learning workshop in my college's tech fest in 2019. Anyway, I have been devoting time to machine learning ever since the Covid-19 pandemic engulfed human life all over the world. I did courses in Python language and also the unparalleled Machine Learning course by Andrew Ng. This sparked an interest in me, to further explore the field by trying small projects on my own. And so, I ended up building regression and classification models like Chirps vs. temperature, Titanic survival prediction, Iris flower classification etc. in supervised learning and Mall segmentation clustering using K-Means for unsupervised learning. From there, I transitioned into deep learning and with a teammate, built a sign language recognition model employing CNNs. I'm a part of a Machine Intelligence Community in SRM KTR and have also written some technical Machine Learning and Deep Learning related blogs on their medium page.
