Palak Mishra

I am a first-year B.Tech student in Computer Science and Engineering at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), with academic interests in computer science, quantum computing, and mathematics. I enjoy working at the intersection of logic, problem-solving, and practical implementation.

I was shortlisted at the college level for the Smart India Hackathon, where I served as the team lead. Through this experience, I learned the importance of building clear and effective prototypes to communicate ideas, as well as how to mediate between diverse ideas and align them into a cohesive solution.

My academic projects include developing a Hangman game using C, where I explored randomization techniques to enhance user experience, and designing a draft portfolio website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as part of my web application development coursework. These projects helped me understand the value of clean, organized code and simplicity in design for efficient execution.

Technically, I am comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I am currently building foundational proficiency in C and C++. I am keen to continue learning through collaborative environments that emphasise structured thinking, innovation, and meaningful problem-solving.
