Michael Minhas

Hi! My name is Michael and I am an aspiring Web3 engineer!

Previously, I worked as a full-stack engineer developing applications on Online Banking platforms for financial institutions all across Canada. Out of curiosity, while working, I decided to start self-learning and building projects with Solidity and other web3 tools/technologies. Prior to that, I had very limited knowledge of any blockchain tech, so when I started learning more and more, I became captivated by it all and decided that I wanted to try to make the jump from web2 into web3!

My latest project was a staking/lending DeFi protocol which would allow users to stake ETH and in return, be given the opportunity to borrow against their deposit. I also have experience with implementing ERC-721 token standard contracts as well as deploying projects to EVM compatible L2s such as Arbitrum and Optimism.

This technology is amazing and I truly believe it is going to be integrated across every industry worldwide. The products that we can build will be revolutionary but onboarding will be difficult, our job is to make it as friendly to the end-user as humanly possible!
