Hello! My fascination for blockchain technology began in 2020, the year of the pandemic as well as my graduation year from university. I’m from Canada and I studied at McMaster University in the B.Eng Electrical and Biomedical Engineering program. This greatly fostered my passion in the technology space, I’ve always been a seeker of knowledge and I wanted to explore the full spectrum of technology from the physics of circuits to the makeup of the internet we use in our daily lives.
During my studies I was keen on maximizing my learning and experience in the fields of Software, Hardware, Electrical and Biomedical Engineering through coursework, internships, extracurriculars, and numerous personal projects.
My graduation date found me navigating myself jumpstarting my career in a rapidly changing world. This provided me ample time to discover a passion in the cryptocurrency/blockchain industry, by diving into today's macroeconomic trends and blockchain technical infrastructure, as well as rekindling my entrepreneurial spirit.
It was then I devoted my career and even personal aspirations to learning everything I could about Blockchain/Crypto. This meant following all the various industry trends reading hundreds of whitepapers, blockchain development/consulting work, investing, mining, DeFi, NFTs, degening etc.
To me the most exciting part of this emerging technology has always been decentralization, with its capability to democratize and disrupt several centralized industries such as the financial sector.
Up until last year, I had dedicated myself professionally as a Software Developer at Steam Exchange, a Canadian regulated cryptocurrency exchange startup. At Steam Exchange we are working on developing our proprietary Hybrid Digital Asset Trading Platform which includes a centralized and decentralized exchange integrated together on our native ERC compatible blockchain. This is in addition to continued consulting and various consulting projects such as liquid ETH staking and Solana DeFi.
In recent times I was forced to take a professional leave of absence due to being a victim of a deadly car accident. It’s been 9 months and after the uphill challenge to recover physically and mentally I see EthDenver as the perfect opportunity to get back into groove by surrounding myself with the best minds in the space. I have worked hard to prepare for this moment and am thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in my third cryptocurrency conference!
