Kganya Serote

Good day, mon ami. I am a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (Software Engineering) Eduvos graduate as of 2023. I live under the Japanese principle of Kaizen; this is a philosophy states: “every day is an opportunity to improve, even if it is only by 1%. It is not about being invincible, it’s about being unstoppable.”

I am skilled in the Python programming language, MySQL, HTML, PHP, and CSS. I have created a website in my final year of study for a start-up company called Renovate Inc, and I have worked with fellow Eduvos classmates to create an application using Java for a cleaning services company called Takeaway Hygiene Services located in Polokwane.

I worked for Maetane Energy (Pty) Ltd as an Administration Officer from 2020-2023; in the same period I worked at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church performing administration duties including the creating the order of service files using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. In 2019, I worked with Techroid Solutions for a data capturing project in 2019, and I attended the Innovation Summit in Cape Town as an assistant.

I have gained further experience during my internship at Leap Skills Development Institute, where I have used industry recognized Information Technology (IT) solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), WordPress, GitHub, Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Miro, Tutor, and Open edX.

I am looking forward to being a part of many projects in the Information Technology space and hopefully meet you along this journey.
