Hi! I'm Justin Jin, a blockchain developer and crypto enthusiast.
I have been working on Neo mainnet development from 2018 to 2021. This is a major public chain project in China. We got several teams cooperating this project: the international community, R&D team in China, a research team in Russia as well as some individuals.
My job included several aspects such as:
source code research of Neo2 as well as developing Neo3 and Neo Java etc
enhancing Neo's TPS
cooperating with Celer to develop Neo's offchain status channel
researching in NeoID
contributing to the whitepaper and yellow paper of Neo3, etc
In this project I gained my understanding in blockchain, including consensus, crypto, etc. Neo successfully upgraded from Neo2 to Neo3 with everyone's contribution, and my code contribution ranked as th 4th in neo-core repo. I'd like to highlight this project as I like it and feel honored being a pre-member of it. I also learned a lot from it, not only techs themselves, but my own understanding about blockchain world.
From 2022 to now I have been working on various fields such as side chain, smart contract developing, dex, Filecoin specs, etc.
I think my favourate role in blockchain/crypto industry is reaserching & developing engineer. I think I have 3 advantages in this role such as:
- I love researching new techs and make confusions clear. I like to look into problems to get the full vision rather than satisfied by only soling the problem itself.
- My carefulness always helps me to observe questions and defects that are likely to be neglected by other people. And thus one of my job was to reviewing others' pull requests looking for posible defects.
- I have been working as blockchain engineer for 4 years and have corresponding knowledge in fields like consensus, crypto, cross-chain, etc
