In nations such as India, a large portion of the rural population relies on the agricultural sector for their livelihood. However, on occasion, factors such as poor soil quality, substandard fertilizers, and erratic weather conditions can result in significant crop yield losses for farmers.

CropLabs is an innovative Sustainable Farming Guidance Platform designed to empower farmers to overcome various challenges they face in agriculture.

Our goal is to create a highly optimized Large Language Model (LLM)
specifically tailored to agriculture by training it on diverse datasets
encompassing articles, e-books, Wikipedia entries, crop cycle
information, crop fertilizer data, and more. We intend to utilize a
pre-trained language model, such as Hugging Face or Falcon40 B, as a
foundation and then fine-tune it to enhance its performance for
specialized agricultural tasks and improve comprehension of related
topics.
