I am a Year 1, Semester 3 Bachelor of Software Engineering student at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) with an interest in software development, algorithms, and problem-solving.

I am continuously developing my technical skills through academic projects, coding competitions, and practical software development experience.

Experience

Participated in Top Coders Malaysia 2026, a university-level coding competition focused on algorithmic problem-solving, data structures, and programming efficiency.

The competition involved solving 8 timed algorithmic challenges within 2.5 hours using the E-Box Virtual Code Lab platform.

6. Debugged errors and improved execution efficiency.
7. Verified solutions using automated test cases.

Key Takeaways

Participating in this competition strengthened my algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Working under a strict time limit also improved my ability to quickly analyse problems, select appropriate algorithms and data structures, and develop efficient solutions.
