“I’m Ganesh Shelar, a Computer Engineering student from Mumbai with a strong interest in building practical, impactful tech solutions. I enjoy turning ideas into real-world applications, especially where software can simplify everyday problems.
My core strength lies in combining development with creativity. I’ve worked with technologies like Java, Flutter, Firebase, and Python, and I particularly enjoy developing mobile applications. One of my key projects, RAILEASE, focuses on automating the student railway concession process, reducing paperwork and improving efficiency. Another project, Suraksha Sakey, reflects my interest in socially impactful tech—it’s a women’s safety app that integrates AI-based threat detection with real-time alerts.
Beyond academics, I actively participate in hackathons and competitions, where I’ve been recognized as a finalist at Avishkar and secured 1st Runner-Up at the Syrus Hackathon. These experiences have helped me strengthen my problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills.
What makes me different is my approach—I don’t just build projects for completion, I focus on usability, real-world impact, and user experience. I’m currently looking to grow as a developer, contribute to meaningful projects, and continuously learn new technologies in the process.”
