Senior software developer, infoedge
New Delhi, India
Hi
I am a Senior Software Engineer at InfoEdge (Naukri.com division) and a pass out from Delhi Technological University. I have participated in many hackathons and one thing that has been a constant in each one of them is the immense learning that happens in those 2 days. I, along with my team mate was a part of Hack In Out 5.0 (happened in 2018, Bangalore), and it was a great experience for us developing our idea there, and at the very same time, meeting so many new talents in this field of ours. I want to be a part of Hack IN OUT this year as well to experience that same thrill of learning and to interact with all the other participants with their amazing ideas. Helping others through my experience and learning from their experiences is what I look forward to as I submit my application for review.
WORK and PROJECTS:
- My current role at Infoedge is to build tools for the job seekers on Naukri.com to efficiently and intelligently manage users' profile. Recently I am shifted to Naukri FastForward team, which is nothing but Naukri for paid users. Here my role is to develop an intelligent lead management system so that maximum leads are converted to paid job seekers of Naukri.
- I, along with my team, made a device for the deaf and mute people to bridge the communication gap between them and normal people like us. This device would be attached on their shirts and had a small camera. The deaf and mute person would do the hand sign and the camera would capture it. The machine learning code we burnt into the processor will recognise the hand sign and render speech through the speaker module, helping the mute person to speak in a way.
3.. Created a Mobile Web browser for people suffering from Parkinson disease which stabilises the web page to counter their shaky hand movements using the inbuilt mobile gyroscope and Web coding, helping them to read from mobile despite their disorder.
4.. An IoT enabled plug for EV charging that would inturn help reduce load on the power grid and let discoms save money. - Payment gateways for these EVs, so that the EV owners could pay the electric charging stations for the amount of electricity they used to charge their vehicle using the charger so that payments can be done smoothly.
- Also, we developed an intelligent algorithm that could predict the health of the battery by analysing the charging data of the EV.
- There are several others which I have explained in the attached resume.
