My area of expertise is Data Structures and Algorithms. I have been a competitive programmer for the past 3 years. This exposure taught me many good lessons on efficiency of systems. On the other hand, the most complex project I have worked on was with Amazon, on their AI, Alexa. From this I learned how the most optimum code might not be the most sustainable code, and the logistics behind sustainability.
My experience in development might be very limited but I surely do know that there is no field, with enough effort, I can't succeed in.
