I, Devansh Aggarwal, am a third-year Computer Science student from Birla Institute of Technology Pilani Goa Campus. I started Android development just out of curiosity to know how Android apps are made and what all technologies are used in developing them. But now, I believe I have become an Android development enthusiast from the core. I am an open-source enthusiast who loves to work on projects and contributing to organizations.
I have worked as a Google Summer of Code (GSoC'2020) student for an open-source organization for developing a native Android application for digital wallet use cases. I have also worked on a few personal projects like Phix (money management app with UPI payment support), Pixsel (a wallpaper sharing app, built on MVVM architecture), and on TrashCAN (a system of apps mainly focusing on decentralizing the waste disposal system). I have also decent experience in back-end development using Django framework and have worked on a university-wide project as a backend developer. Currently, I am volunteering as Android development instructor to teach 20 plus the fundamentals of Android application development using an open source project consuming Zomato's API.
Whenever I am free, I like contributing to a few open-source organizations like The Mifos Initiative, OpenFoodFacts, AnitaB.org opensource as an android developer.
