What I'm good at
I'm a horizontal thinker, big fan of Gunpei Yokoi's philosophy of "lateral thinking of withered technology". My natural predispositions tilt towards the marriage of commercial strategy and technical implementation.
My nieche is knowing how to effectively translate between the language of devs and the language of business-oriented professionals.
In my 7-year career, I have:
What drives me
I’m driven by the unwavering belief that blockchain is the one paradigm-shifting technology which, in a world where macro trends flirt with dystopian risk (AI, climate, biotech, geopolitical divide...), can rein in all the rest. Its approach to “proof, not trust” fundamentally changes the rules of game theory wherever its architecture is applied, through financial incentive alignment.
My goal, simply put, is to achieve a net-positive impact on the world, working on stimulating problems, aiming for ambitios goals, obtaining abundant financial security and enjoying the journey while I'm at it. Is that so hard? Maybe so, but one can still dream right?
I also want a front row seat for the unfolding events of the 21st century, and play my humble part in it. I want to be one of the crazies developing websites in the '90s.
What projects I've built
Since August 2024 I've been an intern at Nethermind, where I:
In April 2024 I quit my job with Jacobs to fully focus on blockchain and software engineering. This thread tells my story, transitioning into the web3 sector as a self-taught software engineer, with plenty of links and details of the projects I developed.
At Jacobs my most notable projects were:
Security Audit: 5 projects to date for major companies, found several issues in the Solidity code. Forta Bots: building real-time chain monitoring bots with Typescript and Node.js.
