I'm Arjun Varma, a seasoned computer science engineer with an insatiable thirst for technical excellence. My journey has transformed me into a versatile data maestro. I'm proficient in programming languages like Java, C ,Python , HTML, CSS and PHP. My passion for data analysis drives me, and I relentlessly pursue excellence. This technical journey has honed my skills, making me a versatile and adept problem solver.
My journey into the world of AI, ML, data science, and data analytics has been incredibly enriching. Through my active participation in numerous hackathons, small projects, and attending conferences, I've gained valuable hands-on experience and expanded my knowledge in these fields.
I've had the privilege of winning the 3rd Prize of 10,000 INR in the IIT MADRAS Research Park Hackathon, which focused on image processing using AIML. This experience provided me with in-depth exposure to AI and various ML algorithms. Additionally, I've undertaken projects such as developing a Personal Voice Assistant and working on image classification and prediction, as well as data analytics algorithms for predictions.
I've also attended the ISARC 2023 conference held at IITM Research Park, where I had the honor of qualifying as one of the top 8 teams. This exposure to cutting-edge research and innovation in the field has further fueled my enthusiasm for AI and ML.
Furthermore, I have secured 2nd place in the internal SMART INDIA HACKATHON organized in my college and also previously made it to top 80 projects in hardware related project using raspberry pi where, I have developed a flood detection and warning system. Apart from that, I have participated in NMIT HACKS 2023 , where I had qualified for the offline hackathon round in the AIML track.

I developed a Python-based Voice Assistant that enhances computer usability by enabling voice commands for routine tasks. This project leverages the power of speech recognition and automation to streamline everyday actions, making the computer experience more efficient and accessible
COMPARING THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE MIXTURES USING DIFFERENT KINDS MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHMS AND EVALUATION METRICS.
This project uses diverse machine learning algorithms to predict and compare concrete mixture compressive strengths. It starts with dataset collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering, followed by model training and rigorous evaluation using MAE, MSE, RMSE, and R2. The goal is to pinpoint the best-performing algorithm, offering valuable insights for the construction industry.
Detection of Plastic content in rivers using Computer Vision
Detecting and counting the amount of plastic content in rivers images captured from a drone camera and attaching geotag location link to the images with plastic content using Yolov8.
