I'm an avid creator, builder, and software engineer with 3 years of experience working in tech startups (6+ years of engineering experience in total). I've been really passionate about web3 for the last 6 months (still constantly learning new things) and want to combine my web2 startup experience with all of the possibilities web3 brings. The startup I worked for was a data mining company and served their scraped data via react applications - as such I have industry experience building and testing large scale data driven react applications with Node.js and Typescript mostly, automated web scrapers with Python and Airflow, cloud base databases ala Snowflake, as well as CI/CD practices like setting up dev environments with Docker containers, automating deployment pipelines with apps like vercel, and using GCP as well. I feel comfortable building monolithic apps going from idea to working/deployed to production prototypes with the above stack. On my github you can see two projects Ive built over the last few months: a web3 analytics dashboard and learning platform using mostly NodeJS for external API services, and smart contracts with Solidity, like wallet connections, token-gated premium features, and more. I'm also building an AI RAG application to ingest PDFs from a database, shared folder, or locally, extract text, embed, and store vectors in a vector database like qdrant to be served in a react application. Similiar to chatGPT, but totally unique to whatever data is provided and no data/prompts are saved/stored aka complete data privacy and security. I'd love to build an AI chat app that integrates EVM onchain data and incorporates wallet functionality for any number of use cases! I'm really excited about participating in the BUIDLthon and would welcome every opportunity to learn more, network, and build rad shit! -Aaron
