Our team is motivated by the potential to help onboard more people in the region onto the Base, where they can explore, learn, and interact with the decentralized world of crypto. We see the Middle East as a high-potential region for blockchain adoption, and a lot of other regions with people have access to the telegram so easily, with many enthusiastic communities eager to get involved in on-chain activities.

Meanwhile, everyday players who love trivia, learning, or competing have no real way to earn from what they know, just in-app points and empty badges. To get here, we tackled three big technical challenges: Smart Contract Quiz Logic The Problem: On-chain games usually struggle to hide quiz answers and stay unpredictable. Our Fix: We built an encrypted quiz system that decrypts each question just-in-time for the match, fair, fast, and tamper-proof. Frictionless Wallet Flow The Problem: Signups, email verifications, and complex wallets kill Web3 adoption. Our Fix: Players can jump in instantly using any Wallet. No forms. No blockers. Just play. Fair Incentives for Players and Creators The Problem: Rewarding creators often cuts into the players’ pot. Our Fix: We split the $0.40 platform fee fairly, $0.18 to quiz creators, $0.12 to the leaderboard pool, and $0.10 to the platform. Players still earn 60% of the total pool before leaderboard prizes. This lets us keep UmYea fair for players, rewarding for creators, and sustainable for the long run, without bloating the system or sacrificing the fun.
