According to a World Bank report, 13 lakh people died in the country due to road accidents, and 50 lakh people were injured as a result. More than 34.56% of road accidents are caused by sleep fatigue, a concerning statistic that underscores the importance of addressing driver fatigue as a critical factor in road safety. This issue not only poses a significant risk to individuals' lives but also contributes significantly to the overall number of deaths and injuries on India's roads, highlighting the urgent need for effective measures to mitigate this preventable cause of accidents. In response to the pressing concern of road accidents stemming from driver fatigue, we propose a solution : Smart Glasses for Fatigue Prevention. This innovative wearable device aims to mitigate the risks associated with drowsy driving by proactively alerting drivers to signs of sleepiness, with help of sensors and buzzers
