Ahana Acharyya

I am Ahana Acharyya. I am currently in my 3rd year pursuing CSE from Heritage Institute of Technology. I am proficient in C, C++, Frontend, MERN Stack dev. And I have some basic knowledge in Machine Learning. I am still grinding it. I have participated in multiple hackathons. Recently Me along with my team secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Inter-Institute Hardware Prototype Development Competition – “AI-In-Hardware: Smart System Design Challenge 2025” , organized by IEEE MTTS HITK SBC in association with the Department of ECE, Heritage Institute of Technology ,on 12th November 2025. There we basically built:

The competition focused on building AI - driven hardware prototypes in domains such as antenna design, RF/microwave sensing, IoT, and embedded systems—reflecting real-world engineering challenges and emerging technological trends.
We developed EdgeExitIQ, an AI-powered IoT prototype for fire detection and intelligent escape route estimation.
In the event of a fire in a building, EdgeExitIQ helps occupants quickly navigate through the safest and fastest escape path, while simultaneously providing first responders such as fire fighters with a bird’s-eye situational overview to support faster and more informed decision making.
