Arshith Vaz

Hey, I’m Arshith Vaz, currently in my 4th year of a Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at St. Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru. Although I started coding just about two years ago, I’m now proficient in several languages, including C, Python, JavaScript, and SQL. I’ve also gained experience with a variety of tools and frameworks, such as Linux, Git, GitHub, ReactJS, NextJS, D3.js, FastAPI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and Docker. I regularly use tools like VS Code, MATLAB, Arduino IDE, Jupyter Notebook, and Google Colab to work on my projects.

What really drives me in coding is the endless potential and creativity it offers. The fact that a few lines of code can bring so many ideas to life is fascinating, and exploring various tech stacks keeps me motivated and excited to learn more.

Some of my most interesting projects include a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based AI tool that can answer questions directly from uploaded PDF documents. I’ve also worked on ‘Flexpertise: An Integrated AI and Computer Vision System for Physiotherapy Exercise Monitoring,’ which uses AI to analyze and assist physiotherapy exercises. Working on projects like these has taught me so much, and I’m always looking forward to the next one!
