  • Bitso - Head of crypto
    May 2020 - November 2022

    I led the strategy redesign for the whole company reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer and working with the leadership team. My responsibilities as Crypto Strategy Manager (previous role) were divided among the 4 people Crypto Strategy team I led.

    • Strategic company projects: Led the 6 people cross-functional team from Design, Data Science, Product, and Strategy to redesign Bitso’s company strategy around a new user persona to increase the company's profitability and to expand our product-market fit. We conducted user research, evaluated all company products, and ran data analyses; the result was a new strategy toolbox for Product Managers to assess and implement in their roadmap.
    • Crypto Strategy team: Responsible for leading the 4 person team executing the listing process, strategic research, and internal crypto education. We kept implementing the listing process with a weekly cadence to increase engagement with the user, started evaluation solutions around self-hosting wallets, and delivered an internal crypto education program for Bitso’s team.
    • Other initiatives that I led:
      I was one of the company's first internal and external crypto evangelists, resulting in over $600,000 USD of gained media in national and international news outlets (examples 1 and 2).
      I helped Bitso’s CorpDev team evaluate potential investments resulting in Bitso investing in 3 startups.

  • Espacio Cripto - Co-Founder
    November 2022 - Present

    Espacio Cripto is one of the most listened-to crypto podcasts in Spanish. This project was born with the objective of creating high-value crypto content in Spanish, we want to help people understand crypto in the most impartial and positive way. We never speculate with prices and we always try to keep a realistic view of this amazing industry.

    In November 2021 we partnered with Sonoro Media, the leading podcast production company in LATAM to level up our content quality and to expand our reach

  • Bando - Co-founder and CEO
    December 2023 - Present

    We're building a crypto broker for the global south based on the DeFi mullet, fintech in the front and DeFi in the back. In our MVP we connected Base to the Mexican financial system, users can send a local wire and get USDC and other assets in Base in a couple of minutes.

  • Bueno - Head of Product
    November 2022 - April 2023

    Part of the leadership team at Bueno, leading the Product area composed of a team of 5 people from Customer Success, Design, and Community. I was responsible for the product roadmap, product launches, go-to-market, user and market research, and raising the bar for our product experience.

    • Product strategy: I worked with the founders to define and communicate a clear product strategy clarifying our target segment, growth model, product-market fit evaluation, and the OKRs of the company. We conducted several user interviews and analyses to suggest the company's strategy. This resulted in priorizing a new product line, and I created a Mixpanel dashboard to track the product's performance.
    • Product delivery: Responsible for designing a new product development process called DIABLO (Discovery, Inception, Alpha, Beta, Live, Optimization) to deliver value as fast as possible to users. We followed 6 weeks sprints where we priorized work, defined clear objectives, and created small delivery cells composed of Product, Design, and Engineering. This resulted in a collaboraon between Design, Engineering, Markeng, and Product to launch Bueno Drops, a new product for Bueno.
    • Customer success: Led the customer success team to ensure we listened to our users to keep them happy and launch new product initiatives. We reduced the contact rate by 3x by implementing better product documentation and chatbots. We reduced the first response time and average closing me by 130% by migrang our support from Discord to Intercom.
