About Me
Hi, I'm Abinesh—a software engineer and researcher passionate about decentralized systems, cryptographic protocols, and secure computing. My work focuses on designing robust blockchain architectures, enhancing data privacy, and exploring novel cryptographic applications in distributed computing.
What Drives Me
I am deeply motivated by the intersection of cryptography, security, and distributed systems. I believe in building technologies that empower users, rather than just enforcing adoption. My focus is on making cryptographic tools more accessible and leveraging decentralized principles to enhance privacy and security.
Technical Skills
- Languages: Rust, GoLang, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, Ruby
- Blockchain & Cryptography: Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), Proxy Re-Encryption (PRE), Garbled Circuits, Solidity (EVM), Rust (Solana toolchains)
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, Terraform, AWS, GCP
- Databases: PostgreSQL, LevelDB
Notable Projects
🔹 Proxy Re-Encryption Library in Rust
A modular Rust-based library implementing secure proxy re-encryption primitives for decentralized data-sharing.
🔹 Distributed Filesystem with Merkle-based composition
Forked a distributed storage system to support parity + erasure coding with auditable Merkle proof constructions.
Future work involves building Pedersen commitments of network composition
🔹 Blockchain-based Digital Asset Management (IBM)
Designed a Hyperledger Fabric-backed system to securely track high-value media assets in Aspera’s DAM platform, improving piracy mitigation and granular access control.
🔹 Smart Contract Security Research
Investigated EVM vulnerabilities and conducted experiments on the San Diego Supercomputer Center’s clusters to benchmark smart contract execution.
