Vineet Chotaliya

I'm a passionate Software Engineer and Machine Learning enthusiast, holding a strong Computer Science and Engineering background, with a specialization in Data Science. My journey includes a pivotal Software Engineering Internship at RING (PaywithRING), where I created a distributed job scheduler from scratch. This brought about significant enhancements in task management efficiency and real-time monitoring within the system. Presently, I'm deeply engaged in a Machine Learning Research Internship at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Here, I'm actively contributing to the 'Leap OCR' project, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of character recognition and language detection from scanned images and PDFs.

On the academic front, I'm co-authoring a research paper that explores similarity matching, harnessing the potential of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to elevate innovative educational platforms. My technical leadership shines through my roles as the Technical Lead at Google Developer Student's Club DJSCE and a dedicated Technical Mentor at DJS Compute. In these capacities, I orchestrate diverse technical events, hackathons, and offer guidance to students spanning various programming languages and technologies.
