PRAGYA PARAMITA SAHOO

I’m Pragya Paramita Sahoo, a Computer Science and Engineering student at SRM IST with Honors in Geospatial Intelligence, passionate about building intelligent and efficient AI systems. I enjoy solving complex problems through AI, reinforcement learning, and optimization techniques, and I’ve explored this through projects like a Dueling DQN-based maze navigator and a thermal vision–based health detection system. My experiences at Samsung PRISM and IIIT Allahabad have strengthened my skills in Python, PyTorch, and deep learning research, as well as in collaborating within diverse teams. What drives me is the curiosity to understand how machines can learn, adapt, and make decisions like humans, and how such systems can be optimized for real-world impact. I’m deeply interested in AI, LLM optimization, and geospatial intelligence, and I’m motivated by the challenge of creating innovative, human-centered technologies that bridge research and practical application.
