My name is Joseph Thuku, a passionate Software Engineer from Nairobi, Kenya, with a focus on blockchain development, Web3, and AI integration. I have a diverse tech background, including backend development with Python, FastAPI, and PHP, as well as building decentralized applications (dApps) using Solidity, Rust, Next.js, Ether.js, and tools like OnChainKit.
I'm currently leading several innovative projects. One of them is ElementPay, a decentralized on-ramp/off-ramp platform that enables users in Kenya to spend crypto on daily expenses. I'm also developing BlockSafari, a blockchain-secured safari app that allows users to mint their safari experiences as NFTs, connect with guides, and even tip them in crypto.
I’m passionate about building practical solutions that address real-world problems in emerging markets. Lately, I’ve been diving deeper into smart contracts, DeFi, and exploring the scalability potential of the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP).
