I am an empathic and innovative person. I try to find and understand the problems that others may be facing, and I love to solve them. I always take up projects which aim to make lives simpler. I have two provisional patents. One of them is for an agronomic product that can reduce pesticide, weedicide, and water use while increasing yield, and the other is for a commercial plastic packaging design that can be reused at homes, thereby reducing wastage. I collaborated with my peers and professors for most of my projects, and I love learning with others and from their experiences, but I also have a penchant for taking charge of team events. I am the head of the student-run Swarm Robotics Research Group and the Captain of the Hardware Modeling team of my hall. Under my leadership, Swarm has won the Runners Up prize in DRUSE organized by DRDO among 5000+ teams from various Engineering Institutes. I also led a group to design an exosuit to assist people with abnormal gait cycle and facilitate natural movement. I give my best effort to my work and stick with it till the end.
I have participated in a lot of innovation-based and business plan competitions and won or became a finalist in many of them. I won the best invention award at Invent@IITGN, a program based on Invention Factory organized by the Cooper Union. The same idea was later selected among 5 top startups from India by MHRD as Indian delegation in 5th Global Innovator Festa, 2019, South Korea. I was the first runner up internationally at Energy Layout 2030, organized by Innogy in Germany. I am the head of a student-run research group Swarm Robotics which has more than 40 people. I led the research group to develop a heterogeneous swarm of robots, with multi-terrain coverage, capable of a semi-auto survey of buildings. We were the first runner up at DRDO Robotics & Unmanned Systems Expositions (DRUSE). Swarm also has many publications and has won many other competitions under my leadership. I love solving puzzles, and I represented India at Redbull Escape Room World Championship, 2019, held in London. I never leave any opportunity for public speaking, and I enjoy interacting with new people. For my presentation skills, I got the Runners-up award at IET Present Around the World.
