Garima Sharma

Myself Garima Sharma, 2nd year B.Tech IT student at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. I love exploring various technical domains and have done a few projects in the field of Internet of Things, Machine learning and Data Science. Field which fills me full of energy is Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking. I have completed a 2- month internship in the field and will be applying for a couple of certifications of this domain soon. I am a Project Co-ordinator of DSC IGDTUW in the field of Cyber Security and my team is working on 2 projects- Creating a Bitcoin Wallet app and Developing a Network Traffic Analyzer. We expect Bitcoin wallet project to be completed by the end of May 2021 and Network Traffic Analyzer is under research by the team. Other than being a part of DSC-IGDTUW, I am Vice President of OSA (Optical Society of America) Student Chapter at IGDTUW where we learn and work upon different technologies like Astrophotography, Material Characterization and developing Telescope mount. I am a participant at Girlscript Summer of Code -2021, and have started my open-source journey from there. I look forward to participate in my very first hackathon and add more value to my learning!
