My name is Daigan Berger I am a Junior in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota also completing a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am also serving as the president for UMN Blockchain this semester.
I have been a JavaScript and Typescript developer for 5+ years and have experience using them both for backend architecture and front-end architecture for Angular and Next.js applications. I have worked on several personal projects in these languages including a Memory Match Game, Discord Bots used for various purposes such as Gaming, Product Management, and Music. I have experience with Express.js as a backend framework but am comfortable with the topics and ideas in HTTPS and able to use any similar framework.
I have experience using SQL and NoSQL technology as well. I primary work with MongoDB but have also worked with DynamoDB and Microsoft SQL. I am also familiar with different management techniques such as waterfall, scrum, and agile.
I am always open to exploring and learning new skills and new ways to accomplish a task. I learned about the observer and subscriber pattern at my previous position and I am fascinated by different ways to achieve the same behavior and the advantages and disadvantages that different software engineering practices entail.
