Brandon Gan

I am excited to become a part of the hackathon to collaborate with people from all backgrounds but similar interests and most importantly learn. I am excited to challenge myself and show what I have to my team, assisting them in providing ideas in problem solving, debugging code of course brainstorming ideas.

I have been a software developer intern for five months, where I used google Flutter (Dart language) to create decorative and interactive user interfaces for two different apps. I was involved in a team of 4, working together to create apps efficiently, discuss our internal goals and achieving them. In the two apps we built, I have built over 50 pages with transitions, animations and interactive widgets using flutter built-in functions alongside with external third parties package like Hero widget and Riverpod to manage state for the apps. I have not only gained hands-on experience in building user-friendly interfaces, but I learned a lot about agile workflows and problem-solving in a collaborative environment. I Iearned how to contribute, promote ideas and work in a team, which I am enthusiastic to showcase it in the hackathon!
