The force that drives me towards technology is the curiosity to learn more. The best example is the first step I took towards the industry. I had my summer internship in Morgan Stanley. I did not knew anything about what the project was as I had nearly 45 days to complete the project. The task was to create an Environments on demand solution for different production environments. Not knowing what is IaaS, Paas and SaaS, not knowing anything about Golang, I had to create a system which consisted of providers and provisioners for creating, updating and destroying infrastructure on demand. The cost of infrastructure needed for deploying a project is huge. One needs containers, load balancers, monitors, LaaS solutions, messaging queues etc. What if in a testing environment, one needs the whole infra for just half a day. The infra is wasted. What if we could find a solution to spin up and spin down complete environments that we need. It was a complex project and I learned it all and completed a POC on it. That was the point where I realised how I love the work and the challenge it provides me every day.
I also took part in WMN hackathon with no idea about Blockchain. We decided to learn something new and go for it. We badged a special mention price too for the application. This is what motivates me to learn new things.
