Senior Smart Contract Engineer, Planck Network

Pune, India

I am a Smart Contract Engineer with a core focus on DePIN infrastructure and protocol-level development. My expertise is centered on building secure, gas-optimized, and upgradeable smart contracts using Solidity (including Yul/Inline Assembly), Hardhat, and Foundry. With hands-on experience in decentralized infrastructure, DeFi, and tokenization, I have developed a range of blockchain solutions, including GPU staking protocols, RWA tokenization platforms, cross-chain bridges, and NFT marketplaces.

Currently, I am a core contributor to Planck Network, where I work on the settlement layer for a decentralized GPU network. I build smart contract systems for staking, compute allocation, and reward distribution, along with backend infrastructure using Golang and Google Cloud KMS for secure transaction signing. My work involves creating ERC-4626 vaults with protections against common DeFi attack vectors and implementing slashing mechanisms that verify cryptographic proofs.

I am heavily involved in advanced cryptographic techniques like Paillier Homomorphic Encryption and ZAMA FHE (TFHE) to enable privacy-preserving operations in smart contracts. I've worked on encryption libraries that allow protocols to perform computations on encrypted data without decryption. My development process prioritizes gas optimization, often achieving significant cost reductions through assembly-level rewrites and efficient storage patterns. Additionally, I specialize in integrating smart contracts with decentralized applications using ethers.js and web3.js, and building custom indexers with Subsquid and Ponder for real-time data processing.

Beyond smart contracts, I have experience with cross-chain infrastructure—building EVM bridges and writing Golang relayers that handle secure asset transfers between chains. I've also worked with custom blockchain deployments, including Avalanche Subnets configured for institutional use cases. I have a strong track record of performing security reviews and collaborating with external audit firms to ensure protocol integrity.

I am a Protocol Labs Dev Guild Fellow (Cohort 5) and RareSkills Alumnus, contributing to open-source research on decentralized data networks and exploring Layer-0 blockchain architecture. I've also authored technical documentation including whitepapers and developer guides.

I thrive in the evolving blockchain ecosystem, constantly refining my skills and exploring new areas like the intersection of decentralized infrastructure and AI. I'm passionate about contributing to hackathons and open-source projects that push the development of decentralized, transparent, and secure solutions for the future.
