The problem Pryde solves

Pryde is a progressive web application that aims to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections and diseases within the LGBTQ+ community. It provides a safe space for individuals to openly talk about their sexual health and get personalized answers. The application offers a chatbot that provides answers related to sexual health and hygiene, a forum to discuss sexual practices, a connection to medical professionals, an interactive educational section using Unity3D, a reading area where users can access top blogs on sexual health and hygiene for LGBTQ+ individuals, and a self-love booth. The application was built using Frontend and Backend Technologies and powered by NLP, AI, and Google Cloud. The project aims to cater to the society, medical professionals, sustainability, and business. The project helped us to learn more about the underrepresented sections of the society and the need for an open discussion of sexual health and hygiene.

Challenges we ran into

Even after having a limited period of time and a vast multitude of features, we were able to complete the project in the nick of time. Despite the challenges faced during the development and training of our model within a tight timeframe, we overcame them collaboratively as a team.
