People love drawing on maps — from ancient cave art to modern-day graffiti and dicks on Google Maps. This taps into that same instinct: mark your territory, have fun, be seen.
But here, every pixel you color sends money to Ukrainian charity funds that accept crypto. You can pay and draw whatever you want — a logo, a joke, a mess — and still do good.
And to keep it spicy, a small % goes into a daily piggy bank, randomly sent to one of the players. Donation meets dopamine.
We started building on INTMAX but hit a wall — it doesn’t support memos or any data attachment, which broke our original idea. We also lost time figuring out why deposits weren’t working.
So we pivoted to Yellow. The main challenge was that the example project had a little viby code — weird naming, backend was in JS with no types, and moments where you just had to feel what the function wanted. Took some digging to make sense of it. Yet, it was kinda fun :)
