I am good at building things from scratch quickly. I like to build apps which scale. I won't say it complex, but the most challenging project that I worked on was in my recent internship where I was given some developer tools to build. And all of those should be well tested. Also, following are some of my qualities why I make a good fit:

  1. Industry experience: I have worked with an early stage startup and a Y-Combinator backed startup as a Software Engineering Developer Intern. I know how building a product and shipping it works in Industry. I know the importance of shipping features fast. Shipping features to software is not an easy process, sometimes we have to trade off some important things while shipping a feature which is most needed.

  2. Technical Skills: I basically have been into Web since three and a half years now. I have done a couple of internships where I learnt a lot about software. I have a strong understanding of how web works and I have worked on website backends, performance optimisation, scaling of software before. I have also completed the Google Summer of Code 2017 which is a program where we have to work on Open Source projects throughout the summer. Thus, I feel that considering technical skills, I am suitable for this role.

  3. Working with teams: I personally think that this is one of the important aspects of engineering. Collaborating with the team is what I learnt in my freshman year of college where we built an app for our hostel and stood 2nd in the competition. From that time onwards, I understood that working in teams: motivates you, makes you ship faster, share knowledge(sharing is learning). Thus, I can communicate well while working in teams.
