Sommya Jain

My name is Sommya Jain, a tech enthusiast currently pursuing B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. I'm passionate about technology and networking with peers who share my interests.

I am skilled in Python Programming, DBMS and basic Web Development. Currently I am learning Data Structures and Algorithms in Java.

I've had valuable experiences and accomplishments that have shaped my journey. I am currently a part of Google Developer Student Club of IGDTUW as a mentee in DSA circle. I am an active member of the Entrepreneurship Cell of IGDTUW which reflects my commitment to self growth and financial independence. I have successfully completed the Google Cloud Study Jams Program. I am a mentee in #include cohort 4.0, a mentorship program on Generative AI for women engineers, an initiative of Microsoft Azure. I am a mentee in Codess.Cafe. I am also an active member of AI Club IGDTUW, Celestial Biscuit, Optica and Instinct IGDTUW. I am also working as a Digital Marketing Intern in Infinity Gains LLP.

I secured 98 %ile in JEE Mains 2023 ranking me among the top 2% aspirants in India. I simultaneously secured 98% in my 12th CBSE Boards 2023 as well. Being the Vice Head Girl of Sachdeva Public School, Rohini, I have had the experience of handling small and big challenges individually and as a part of a team. I have received several academic benchmarks and accolades in debates, quizzes and elocutions.

I am a spirited learner and a team player. My current goals include expanding my knowledge and collaborating with innovative minds. In the long term, I am inclined towards entrepreneurship.
