About Myself

I'm Somesh Koli, I'm a backend engineer & blockchain developer. Currently, I'm working at Oureye.Ai as SRE and building/maintaining the core architecture of the product. Nowadays I primarily work with Go and gRPC to build various microservices. My past work includes (but are not limited to) smart contracts, APIs, blockchains, Native apps, etc. I'm interested in distributed systems, Backend architectures, and DevOps.

Being an open-source enthusiast most of my projects are open-sourced. I have also worked with Postman Inc under Google Summer of Code'20 (more details below). Also, I'm a hackathon freak :P.

  • D. Y. Patil University - Software Developer Inter
    January 2019 - March 2019

    Developed dyTV for the University.
    dyTV is a live streaming server specially designed for the faculty of D. Y. Patil University, Mumbai.
    It is used for one-to-many live streaming for speeches and workshops. It included a portal for sharing research papers and related documents securely between various entities.

    It is powered by RTMP and MPEG-DASH streams where delay times are even below one second on LAN.

  • Andy InfoSec - Security Researcher

    Working as a security researcher and bug hunter.
    Reported multiple security bugs for multiple clients.

  • Google Summer of Code - Student Developer

    Working with postman to develop a sdk generator which will generate request sdk from a postman collection.
