Saumo Pal

I am a graduate of IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electronics and Financial Engineering. I have worked across full-stack, cloud development, machine learning, kernel-level development, product management, and financial modeling. I have previously worked at Adaface, Capital One, Mercedes Benz, EkAnek, 2x GSoC, and currently, I am a part of an early-stage startup called Let's Dive building the future of meetings. My previous blockchain development experience is only limited to hackathons and my Master's thesis project -
• Studied the relationship between asymmetric volatility, trading volume and breakpoints in cryptocurrencies as a part of Master’s thesis
• Participated in the 3rd cohort of Preethi Kasireddy’s CBC DappCamp, built a reward based referrals powered recruitment dapp
• Built an NFT based social network on Hedera and Cudos blockchains, winning Hedera India Hackathon ‘22 & Cudos Hackanauts ‘22
• Built an NFT widget maker for embedding in Medium, Substack, emails, websites; won the NFTPort track at EthGlobal’s NFTHack ‘22
• Built a React Native powered chess dapp on Polygon for Android/iOS; won IPFS’ Classic Game track at EthGlobal’s BuildQuest ‘22
• Developed a file system access control system on Ethereum, selected among top 20 projects all over India, Siemens Hack ’18
• Developed a Google Blockly powered Chaincode editor for smart contracts, adjudged winner, Hyperledger Track, BlockHack ‘19
