Hey there! I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer at Socket Technology, where I help provide the best crypto-bridging experience to our users. We're building a one-of-a-kind app, and with it, I get to lay the foundation and set the direction for the rest of the industry to follow.
Before joining Socket, I was a part of the ETHIndia Fellowship 2.0, which led to an internship at Polygon. At Polygon I worked on their wallet and widget and even built their CSS library from scratch – it was a blast!
Like many people from less-known colleges, I have hackathons to thank for my success. I started out learning new skills and competing with coders and designers from places like Harvard and MIT and ended up making some lifelong friends along the way.
In fact, I even helped scale a Devfolio hackathon project into a full-fledged product. I was lucky enough to lead a 5-member development team and make the tracker mobile compatible, which resulted in over 5.1 million unique visitors, 95% of whom were using mobile devices. This experience not only helped me grow as an engineer but also taught me a lot about leadership.
I'm also proud to have led a project for the Goa government that automated the degree and diploma admissions process, saving them over 70 lakh Indian rupees during the pandemic.
Before all that, I was into creative frontend development, building 'CSS & animation' heavy projects, and even received the Mobile Excellence Award by Awwwards (in collaboration with Google) for one of my websites. Even though I don't write as much CSS these days, I'm still a huge fan and many people know me for my skills in that area.
