I'm a casual Ethereum Developer, passionate competetive coder and experienced Web Developer. Experience in Languages like C++, JS, PHP, Python, Solidity and Java. Used various technologies like Truffle, Embark, React, ThreeJS, Node, Bootstrap etc.
The most complex project I've worked on is CodeCharacter. An AI Challenge game, where players write code which plays against an oppnent code over a strategical game. I've learnt to work as a team, not just do but also delegte work. The technologies that were used were React, Redux, NodeJS, C++, Cmake, LLVM. The hard work paid off when over 14,000 matches were played in total by 1,500+ people in 15 countries.
I'm currently trying to extensively experiment with the latest technologies and concepts that scale ethereum such as the Casper FFG and CBC. Also, solutions for privacy on the blockchain.
Hackathons are the best places to build things. I love the feeling of being completely focused on a single product and working every single minute to get it done. My first Hackathon experience was Pragyan Hackathon 17, conducted by SAP Labs, and we built a decentralized poll result sharing application, which happened to win first place and also introduced me to the huge world of Dapps.
My next hackathon was EthIndia where we built Dmaps, Decentralized version of Google Maps, which was a notch above the previous project. We ended up being in the top 7 teams to win.
I also attended Shaastra Blockchain hackathon and won. The multiple hackathons and projects I've worked on have helped me realize and also teach others how big an impact Blockchain technology can have on the real world applications since all my projects have been a reimplementation of an existing product using Blockchain and the amount of advantages there are over conventional methods is staggering.
