Below are a few interesting projects I have worked on :
Slot Booking System (A Python based module abled with Tkinter for GUI)
A UI- enabled computer module for students in a university to book slots for various events, check available rooms at required timings, fix appointments with faculties and staff.
Bennett Student Module-cum-App (A Java based module with NetBeans for GUI on computer and Android Studio for application development)
An intra university student UI-enabled computer module-cum-app that facilitates students to have every minor detail, i.e., food menu, outpass system, attendance, timetable, etc., related to the university down to their fingertips. The outpass system included sending e-mail to respective parents with an outpass. The project had a database in deployment to keep tabs of outpass requests.
MasterChef Food App (A Python based web-module and app using Tkinter, weather API and Android Studio using sorting and Machine Learning) A smart application which enables the user to choose from a wide range of recipes from the entered choice of ingredients. The module also smartly suggests the user recipes keeping in mind the weather and user’s eating pattern, also keeping tabs on their calorie constraints and allergies if any.
OWL – Drowsiness Alert System in Cars (A Python based system including hardware using Raspberry Pi; includes OpenCV, and Image Processing)
A smart hardware working module which buzzes and flashes sharp lights on the car driver if the camera on the dashboard detects drowsy eyes. This has a great impact in reducing road accidents.
SEE – The Third Eye for Blind (Won First Prize in Inter-University Hackathon) (A Python based system including hardware using Arduino, Raspberry Pi and required sensors and motors; runs on Image Processing and Text-To-Speech API)
A smart solution with Smart Cap, Smart Gloves and Smart Body Module to help the blind navigate the roads safely and confidently. The Smart Cap consists of a camera which reads traffic signs and guides the user accordingly by instructing them through speech. The Smart Gloves and Smart Body Module have sensors attached which vibrate the vibration motor alerting the user.
Dernier Cri Virtual Trial Room (A Python and Lua based system which includes hardware using Raspberry Pi; runs with DeepFashion trained on DGX, Image Processing; works on CAGAN and Stack Model)
This DeepFashion module lets the user capture an image real-time and facilitate them to swap outfits on them either from their wardrobe or online store.
Gem5 Simulation research
Worked on researched on the features and implementation of GEM5 simulator at summer internship at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Currently, I am working on multiple projects involving AR and looking for opportunities to monetize it since I ensure that everything I work on benefits the society and solves some issue to ease people's lives, for what use is that technology of that does not make living a little more simpler.
